Carpool Procedures

Carpool Procedures

When you arrive at Spoede, we want to keep our students safe during carpool. Please help by doing the following:

  • Please drive slowly and do not use your cell phone in the carpool line.

  • Please pay close attention, be respectful to, and follow the directions of our staff members directing traffic.

  • Please do not allow your child to get out of the car until directed to do so by a staff member.

  • Please help us be good neighbors to the residents in our local neighborhoods and do not park, drop-off, or pick-up your children on their streets.

  • The bus entrance and circle is for buses only. No carpool students will be picked in that location.

  • Please share this information with any grandparent, babysitter, or other adult who may pick up your child(ren) in the afternoon.

Carpool Guidelines

  • Please write your child's first name and grade level on your yellow carpool pickup sign. Doing so will help us call students by their first and last names. If you have multiple children who attend Spoede, please write first names and grade levels of each child.
  • Please stay in your lane, stay in your car, and wait for your child to be escorted to you by a Spoede staff member.
  • Follow the carpool procedures and respect directions being provided by staff members. Safety for all is a priority!
  • Be patient. It takes time to get students unloaded/loaded.

Thank you for your cooperation!
